Arrive at New Delhi International airport, and meet our representative waiting for you with your name board at the exit gate no. 6 of Terminal 3. You will be introduced to your private driver by the representative, who will assist you in getting transferred to your pre-booked hotel. This day is to relax to get rid of the jetlag. Overnight in Delhi.
Meet your private guide for the day he will give you a brief of the sightseeing before you start the tour. Hop on the car with your guide and the driver to gape at the Mughal-era architecture and history, from ancient forts to incredible monuments to high-tech skyscrapers and shopping centers.
Start your journey through India’s ages by visiting the Jama Masjid, adorned heaven amid Old Delhi’s chaos. The red sandstone treasure was built by the mughal emperor Shah Jahan. Next make your way through the maze of hawkers and motorcycles of the iconic Chandni Chowk. Take a ride on a rickshaw, feast on incredible food or sip chai (tea) on a rooftop lounge. You cannot leave the city without exploring the Red Fort (Monday closed), the primary residence of the Mughal dynasty and the UNESCO world heritage site.
In the afternoon, visit yet another UNESCO recognized site, Humayun’s Tomb, built by the emperor’s grieving widow, Haji Begum, in 1565 AD. Drive past the impressive India Gate built as a memorial to commemorate the 70,000 India soldiers killed in World War I and the Secretariat Building on the way to Qutub Minar another UNESCO site rose by Qutub- u- din in 1199 either as a victory tower or as a minaret to the adjacent mosque. Return back to the hotel towards the end of the day
Morning meet your driver and depart for the airport to board to board the morning flight to Varanasi. Upon arrival in Varanasi, meet your driver carrying a sign board at the Varanasi airport. Head straight to the hotel and meet your guide.
Late-afternoon we take you for the guided walk through lanes, bazaars, Ghats and at the end have an experience of the vibrant and choreographed Aarti ceremony at the Dashashwamedh Ghat. This is a more holistic way to experience the city of temples, the city of eternity, city where souls attain Nirvana.
Return to the hotel in the evening and retire to bed.
Located on the banks of highly revered River Ganga, holy city Varanasi is the most important city for Hindu Devotees. This eternal city has been a prime pilgrimage and learning center for over two hundred decades now. Wake up with the first rays of the sun, and embark on a boat ride by the side of the bathing ghats of the holy river. Witness flocks of Hindu devotees offering prayers early in the morning and taking several dips in the river water to cleanse their soul. Breathe in the pious environment filled with the fragrance of flowers and hymns of Hindu mantras. After sunrise you will visit some of the most exotic temples of the region.
Return back to the hotel for breakfast which will be followed by a visit to “Bharat Kala Bhavan”. Housed by the world famous Banaras Hindu University, it exhibits outstanding collection of paintings, sculptures and textiles commenced with the personal collection of the enlightened Rai Krishnadasa. Mahamana Malaviya gallery, Chhavi (Painting Gallery), Nicholas Roerich gallery, sculpture gallery, sculpture gallery, Nidhi (Treasures) gallery, archaeological gallery, decorative art gallery and Banaras through ages gallery are the important sections of Bharat Kala Bhavan.
Later in the afternoon, excursion will head towards Sarnath – the prime Buddhist center all across the world. Located 13 km north east of Varanasi, Sarnath is a deer park where Gautama Buddha after achieving enlightenment in Bodhgaya, imparted first teachings of dharma. Also, through the enlightenment of Kondanna, Buddhist Sangha came into existence at this park only. Gautama Buddha came here to teach his former five companions Dharma and thus Sarnath is regarded as the place where Buddhism found its roots, the native land of this art of life! Come back to the hotel for overnight.

Morning get ready for a visual treat as you proceed for the guided sightseeing tour of Khajuraho Temples. Inscribed in the list of world heritage sites by UNESCO, the whole complex is divided into eastern and western group of temples. Eastern group is constituted by Parsavanatha Temple – The largest in the group of three Jain temples, Ghantai Temple – This Jain temple has a fresco depicting the 16 dreams of Mahavira’s mother, and a multi-armed Jain goddess perched on a winged Garuda, Adinatha Temple – The last of the Jain temples dedicated to the Jain saint, Adinatha. Later visit the Western group which is undoubtedly the best recognized, because the largest and most typical Khajuraho temple Kandariya Mahadev belongs to this group. Other temples of the western group are Vishwanath Temple – The temple enshrines a three-headed image of Lord Brahma, Lakshamana Temple – The lintel over the entrance of this temple dedicated to Lord Vishnu shows the holy trinity of Brahma, Vishnu and Shiva with Goddess Lakshmi, Vishnu’s consort, Chaunsath Yogini – The oldest surviving temple in the group, Chitragupta Temple – Dedicated to the sun-god, Surya, Matangeshwara Temple – This temple, which happens to be outside the precincts of the western group, is dedicated to Lord Shiva. Today leave with our driver for Jhansi railway station for taking up the train journey to get to Agra. On the way make a stop at the historical city of Orccha. It is a beautiful region rising out of hills located on the banks of river Betwa (approx. 16km from Jhansi). It proudly houses historical monuments which have retained their charm till date and narrate evergreen tails of war – peace to whole world. It was discovered by Bundela rajput Rudra Pratap in 16th century. Temples of Orchha and Phool Bagh are famous tourist destinations one should definitely not miss. One can also visit multi-tiered Jehangir Mahal which was built in 1606 and has gained recognition for its fine murals and the Rai Praveen Mahal.
Reach Jhansi railway station and board the train to Agra. Meet our driver in Agra on your arrival at the railway station and get transferred to you hotel for the night.
Early morning we leave to see the magnificent piece of architecture the Taj Mahal (Friday Closed), perhaps the most photographed monument in the world. A dawn visit to the fabled Taj Mahal to witness the magical effects caused by the reflections of the changing colors of the rising Sun on this brilliant white marble building. Later we return back to our hotel for breakfast.
Thereafter, we ride to the UNESCO world heritage site, Agra Fort built with red sandstone on the bend of the Yamuna River. We also visit Itmad-ud-daulah, which was constructed by Nur Jahan between 1622 and 1628 and is very similar to the tomb she constructed for her husband, Jehangir, near Lahore in Pakistan.
In the evening we will take you to a little known prime viewing spot of the Taj Mahal during sunset exists opposite the monument on the northern shores of the Yamuna River, it is Mehtab Bagh – a centuries old garden complex, open to the public. Return hotel and stay overnight.
After breakfast, check out and get driven to Jaipur, the Pink City, founded in 1727 by Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh, the ruler of Amber. On the way you will visit the UNESCO world heritage site – Fatehpur Sikri. This deserted red sandstone city was built by the Great Mughal Emperor Akbar as his capital and palace in the late 16th century. He built this city in honor of Shaikh Salim Chisti, a Sufi saint who resided in a cave on crest at Sikri, and predicted the birth of his son.
Besides being the first planned Mughal city, it puts forth a unique example of Mughal architecture which was an amalgamation of Indian, Islamic and Persian architecture.
It is bestowed with palaces and mosques and used to be a town larger than London when it was originally constructed. Popular highlights of this region are Buland Darwaza, Jama Masjid, Tomb of Salim Chishti, Diwan-i-Am, Panch Mahal etc.

Following early breakfast, meet your guide and get ready to explore Jaipur’s star attraction the Amer Fort sits on a hill besides the calm water of Mountain Lake. This magnificent palace complex dating back to the 16th century was built from pale yellow and pink sandstone, and white marble. It is divided into four main sections each with its own courtyard.
On the way back we stop at Jal Mahal, this small palace is set in the middle of Man Sagar Lake.
Next head to Hawa Mahal a five storey palace built in 1799, by Maharaja Sawai Pratap Singh, is the most recognizable monument of Jaipur.
We take break for lunch and continue with the tour followed by City Palace a blend of Rajput and Mughal architecture, and Jantar Mantar built in 18th century by Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh II, the huge masonary instruments were used to study the movement of constellations and stars in the sky. It features Samrat Yantra world’s largest sundial.
You will also have the opportunity to wander in the local markets where you can shop for souvenirs, traditional Rajasthani attires, skilful art craft of the region etc. Back to the hotel for overnight stay.
